Smoking Ceremony

A smoking ceremony is a traditional cleansing ceremony that is often used alongside a Welcome to Country or to bring good spirits and energy to a place or people.

In this ancient ceremony, native plants are used to create a sacred smoke that has cleansing properties among other uses.

Mirliny offer smoking ceremonies upon request, all details will be provided to our cultural facilitators who will determine appropriateness and suitability in line with cultural protocols before booking confirmation will be made.

In addition to our cultural knowledge and expertise, we also comply with DFES for safe fire use, including holding all necessary DFES permits and following notification protocols.
