Giving back to our community

For Our Elders

We allocate a monthly financial contribution in the form of vouchers to go directly to our Elders if they need support or financial assistance. This contribution is made possible by each of the cultural services that we deliver and is provided at the sole discretion of our partners with respect to their family & cultural obligations.

For Our Young People

We provide opportunities for our young people to strengthen their learnings and cultural experiences as much as possible. We also invite them to join us on our educational programs to develop their own leadership and facilitation skills.

For Our Community

We commit to being accessible for community and cultural events. We are also committed to empowering fellow Aboriginal businesses through referrals and recommendations.

Acknowledgement

Mirliny acknowledges and pays respect to the Wadjak people of the Noongar nation and to their Elders of the past and present, as the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which we live and work.

We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to their lands, waters and communities.

We pay our respects to them, their cultures and to their Elders both past and present.
