Mirliny is a family-owned Aboriginal business located in Boorloo, Perth WA.
The name Mirliny is the Noongar word for the balga firestick and it pays tribute to the oldest living culture in the world that is still present and thriving here on Noongar boodja in the Southwest of Western Australia.
We are passionate about passing Noongar culture onto the next generation and creating meaningful opportunities to share this rich and beautiful culture with the wider community.
We are committed to ensuring all people can walk on country with caring hearts and thoughtful minds and our range of aboriginal cultural education programs and workshops are developed with this as the foundation.
We look forward to creating an opportunity for you to celebrate Noongar culture with us soon.
Boordawan!
Mirliny are pleased to offer cultural education workshops and sessions for schools, corporate groups and community members at Wadjemup!
Enrich your visit to Wadjemup with a cultural experience focusing on the Noongar six seasons and the incredible Creation Stories of the local area. Visitors will leave the island with a deep appreciation for the Noongar culture and for the island of Wadjemup and it's significance to the Noongar people.
Our workshop and session content changes with the Noongar seasons to reflect the seasonal trends and to foster connection to country.

Mirliny acknowledges and pays respect to the Wadjak people of the Noongar nation and to their Elders of the past and present, as the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which we live and work.
We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to their lands, waters and communities.
We pay our respects to them, their cultures and to their Elders both past and present.
